A remote photoshoot via the Clos app is essentially like having a professional studio session over a video call, but with a major technical upgrade: you control the high-resolution camera on the client's phone.
Instead of taking blurry screenshots, the app allows you to trigger the phone’s actual sensor to capture full-quality, professional images (even in RAW).
How the Workflow Works
1. The Setup (The "Virtual Room")
The Photographer: You open the Clos app (on your iPhone, iPad, or even a web browser) and create a "Virtual Room."
The Model/Client: They download the app on their phone. You send them a unique invite link. Once they click it, they enter your "studio."
Equipment: The client just needs their phone and a way to keep it steady (a tripod is best, but a stack of books or a "tin of beans with a hair tie" works in a pinch!).
2. The Direction (The "Shoot")
Live Feedback: You see a live video feed from their phone camera. You talk to them in real-time to direct their posing, just like a normal shoot.
Remote Control: You have control over their camera settings. You can adjust the exposure, focus, zoom, and even trigger the shutter button yourself.
3. The Capture (The "Files")
No Quality Loss: When you press the shutter, the photo is taken locally on their phone. This means the quality isn't affected by a bad internet connection or lag.
Zero Travel: They can be in their pajamas 10 minutes before the shoot.
Comfort: Being in their own home often makes people feel more relaxed, leading to more "authentic" portraits.
Global Access: They get to work with you specifically, regardless of where they live.
